* Uncle

I took several photo's and put them together to form this tribute to my sweet Uncle Butch who passed away suddenly. I included all the photos I used... just cropped him out and faded the crop over the clown picture. The clown picture is actually a photograph of an oil painting of my Uncle. My dad (Uncle Butch's brother) framed this collage and gave it to the family. This is a picture I took of the layout using my digital camera, so it doesn't look as clear as it does in person. Does anyone know how I upload my digital scrapbook layouts? I can't get them to upload! I've done hundreds of them! Anyhoo...the original layout looked fabulous presented at the memorial service. My dad had it framed with a gorgeous frame and double mat. TFL

* Hero's

Thanks for looking at my Hero Page! This layout is a tribute to 4 generations of brothers, beginning with my 2 grandsons. The front photo is one taken just after the youngest broke his arm! (He's wearing a blue cast!) His brother had truly become his hero as he'd been the one to run and get dad when brother fell off the couch. He is just like that... always watching out for his younger brother! This layout includes 2 pull-out tabs. The tan pull-out includes journaling partially completed by my oldest grandson who is 5 years old. He enjoys scrapbooking, and is very talented! The blue pull-out includes photos of 4 generaions of brothers, my father and his brother begin at the top. Here is the journaling on the blue tab: Individually we are Warriors...Together we are an Army. We stand for truth and righteousness. We love one another. We accept each other's differences. We have faith. We look for the good. We forgive. We hold on tight through the trials and blessings. We learn from each other. We protect each other. We pray for each other. We honorably fullfill our individual missions. We find joy in each day. We KNOW who we are and where we are going. We are SUPER HERO'S! in a world where SUPER HEROS like us are needed more than ever before. We are our Family's army... Humble, Brave and Proud! Hold onto your Hero! The photos on the blue pull-out are all candid phtos I have taken over the past couple of months. It was heartwarming to see that each brother had automatically put an arm or hand on his brother. I made this page as a digital 8X8 and attached it to this traditional layout. TFL
